JUST A COLLECTION OF ANTIQUES AND CURIOS - THE TWO BACK COVERS

Back to main Antiques and Curiospage

The cover represents antiques and curios belonging to the band, including the lead sheets for the single "Forever" and Tony Hooper's sunglasses - Dave's sleeve notes for the 1998 re-issue gives more details. The initial 1000 copies of the vinyl album had a different back cover, featuring a "moody" Beatles-style shot of the band, all dressed in black. Apparently their faces were thought to be too green, so later copies substituted a picture of the band (in a typical pose!) enjoying a pint round the table of a British pub - the London Apprentice in Isleworth, where the Strawbery Hill Boys first started.
