Billboard, 15 Jun 1968

Full page Billboard ads

Very early announcement in the US's music bible of Strawbs' first single. In the same issue, A&M also ran a full page tribute by Robert Kennedy to Martin Luther King, who died on 4 April 1968. Kennedy himself had been assassinated 10 days prior to the magazine's date. No wonder Dave Cousins felt moved to write his "Martin Luther King's Dream"!
