DAVE COUSINS INTERVIEW - 1 DEC 2006, WBZC
=========================================

An interview with Dave Cousins will be broadcast on WBZC this Friday December 1 during the Gene Godfrey show. The show is aired from 6:00PM to 10:00PM Eastern Standard Time. Dave will be discussing the new Boxed Set and all things Strawbs. The interview was conducted during the U.S. tour when the Strawbs played the Tin Angel in Philly.

The station WBZC broadcasts in southern New Jersey as Z88.9. It also broadcasts live on the internet at www.z889.org. If there are any difficulties in receiving the station it is also simulcast on www.netradio100.com.

Gene's show features progressive music which includes groups such as Genesis, Renaissance, King Crimson and of course the Strawbs.

=====================================================
STRAWBS CHRISTMAS PARTY - 2 DEC 2006, NPL, TEDDINGTON
=====================================================

Last year's Strawbs Christmas Party (Victorian fancy dress) was a great success - this year's theme for the party on 2 December is the 60s.

Playing:

Acoustic Strawbs
The Blue Angel Orchestra
Dave Cousins - guitar, vocals
Miller Anderson (played on Two Weeks Last Summer, Heartbreak Hill; Keef Hartley Band, Spencer Davies Group) - guitar, vocals
Chas Cronk - bass
Ian Cutler (Bully Wee, Feast Of Fiddles) - fiddle
Chris Hunt (Lonnie Donegan, The Bruvvers) - drums

Dave Lambert Rock'n'Roll Band
and other surprise guests

Another chance to catch the splendid Blue Angel Orchestra - many of those who caught the excellent show in September in Deal will be back for more. And the Lambert and friends rock and roll set lifted the rafters at last year's party. Miller Anderson and Dave Lambert together on stage .... could be awesome !

========================================================================
CRY NO MORE, NO MORE, ONE LAST TIME, 23 DEC 2006, TURKS HEAD, TWICKENHAM
========================================================================

Cry No More (Roy Hill and our own Mr Chas Cronk) return to revive their flagging spirits with another Yule-flavoured cocktail of jaunty melodies and richly spiced repartee for one more time.

Mr Hill had been feeling a bit peaky of late, but is now fully recovered and will be leaping about the stage and auditorium in his usual manner, whilst Chas looks on aghast.

The lucky venue:
The Turks Head
Winchester Road
St Margarets
Twickenham TW11LF

Doors: approx 8.30pm; showtime approx 9.00pm
Ticket reservations: tel: reservations phone 020 8408 3192 - or just turn up on the night
Ticket price to be announced

Thrill as Mr Hill performs without a net; smile as Mr Cronk takes a bow.

Always a crowd-pleaser. See you there !!!!
