Keeping with the Holiday spirit of giving, Wednesday, Dec. 15, British musician John Ford from the legendary band, the Strawbs and a Gold and multi-Platinum Awards winner is lending his musical talents and a bit of Britain once again, to help with efforts to revitalize and bring vibrancy to Main St. in Port Washington, NY for the Holiday Season with Port Night Out: "A Magical Shopping Experience," to Shop & Stroll Main St. from the Boulevard to the Bay. CRY NO MORE/ROY HILL UPDATE
===========================
Switzerland
-----------
Word from himself that Switzerland is nearly nearly nearly finished, and will be mailing out before Christmas to those who have ordered it.
Roy Hill/Steve Whalley live
---------------------------
Roy has this to say in his latest newsletter:
"I'm delighted to report the gig with Steve Whalley was an absolute blinder. ... Steve was on staggeringly good form, playing and singing up a storm. The live recording, of course, was not an incident free zone and would have been aborted without the help of Steve's son, Quinn, who saved the day by pointing out my wiring was the work of an imbecile. I've just sent the first tracks to the formidable Mr Whalley for his opinion. Must admit I'm delighted with the results. Got some good video footage too and will upload the prime cuts to YouTube as soon as Switzerland is finished. Prime cuts! My idle boast that the CD would be ready this month was of course, an idle boast, but January looks realistic. Steve's stellar performances on mandolin, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and vocals will be enjoyed by all …
Not by me they won't, I hate the mandolin. Mrs GK of Lancs.
… except Mrs GK of Lancs."
