TOUR, GIG AND VENUE PROGRAMMES
STRAWBERRY HILL BOYS

Cliffs Pavilion, Southend, 11 July 1965
Possibly the earliest programme around which features the Strawberry Hill Boys

1st Cambridge Folk Festival, 31 July-1Aug 1965
(From Dave Cousins'personal collection.) The Strawberry Hill Boys appeared at the very first Cambridge Folk Festival in 1965, alongside (amongst others) Paul Simon, The Watersons, Bill Clifton and headliners Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem.

Greenford Hall, April 1966
Another early appearance of the Strawberry Hill Boys (with John Berry on bass), alongside Ian Campbell Folk Group, The Watersons and Martin Carty (accompanying Nigel Denver). The accompanying article tells us that they played "a folk version of the Shadows' 'Dance On" with moving numbers like 'Pastures Of Plenty'". From Jim Shuster.

Southampton Folk Festival, May 1966
An early appearance of the Strawberry Hill Boys
